The former HD Hudson Manufacturing facility has been reborn as a multipurpose complex known as The Confluence, featuring a hotel with 77 rooms, an event center, 18 apartments, a restaurant, and 1,000 square feet of office space.
To achieve this transformation, all of the windows were replaced or restored. Original windows were restored and utilized for as many openings as possible, while the remaining openings were equipped with custom-made SCW3000 historic steel replica windows.
These were designed to closely resemble the original windows in terms of design and sightlines, ensuring compliance with historic tax credit requirements, while also delivering modern thermal and energy efficiency performance.
Project Scope: 29 - SCW3060 fixed windows and 37 - SCW3010 awning windows with screens
