SCW900 Series acoustic control room windows were selected to provide an interior sound barrier, permitting the production technicians to work and interact without interfering with the onstage performance.
The acoustics and audio-visual systems were designed to optimize the space for drama, dance, music, and spoken word performances.
“The first thing that stands out about the sound is the acoustics” per Performing Arts Center Technical Director Noel Collins in an interview by The Ardmoreite.
Operated by Ardmore City Schools, the Center is intended for community use and is designed to accommodate professional touring performances and is a collaborative design effort between MILES, the Ardmore City Schools, Fenix Constructors, and many specialized consultants.
Project Scope: 2 3-lite sliding windows and 2 fixed windows
