Winspear Opera House
Project Location: Dallas, TX
The control room windows provided by St. Cloud Window are more than mere visual portals to inside spaces.
They contribute a key element to the performance, permitting the production technicians to work and interact without interfering with the onstage performance, but also ‘a key detail’, along with the compact horseshoe design, that enhances the acoustics of the auditorium.
Located in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the Opera House is designed to create a sense of intimacy with the performers. The horseshoe-shaped seating combined with the dramatic vertical stacking of its seating balconies ensures that the audience is as close as possible to the stage.
