Challenging describes the renovation of the sprawling Schmidt Brewery, which anchors St. Paul’s historic West Seventh Street.
St. Cloud Window custom aluminum windows play a key role in preserving buildings’ colorful past while providing modern energy performance.
Transforming the complex’s massive size and oddly configured floor plan resulted in nearly every apartment floor plan being one-of-kind, which is also reflected in the custom shapes and configurations required for the windows.

In October 2018 the Jacob Schmidt Brewing Company Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a fitting honor four years after the project’s completion in July 2014.
