Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town South at Carlyle
Project Location: Alexandria, VA
The newly constructed hotel is conveniently located next to an un-lubricated rail line and a very busy traffic hub in Alexandria VA. A preconstruction noise and vibration Study recommended St. Cloud Window SCW960-A9 ultra-acoustic windows for the rail side of the hotel, with the option for a lower acoustic version for the opposite side of the building, providing a uniform look while being cost-effective.
Together the windows mitigate the urban noise providing the guests with a peaceful interior atmosphere.
“Quiet with great staff – I woke up this morning and realized this was probably one of the most quiet hotels I have been in. I didn’t hear neighboring rooms, hallway noise or Metro. Perfect for me.”
Stayed: September 2016“Could not have asked for a better hotel – We stayed for 7 days. We were on the 12th floor with the Metro behind us and I never heard it. We took the shuttle into Old Town, pickup and delivery were so smooth!” Stayed:
