Faribault City Hall
Project Location: Faribault , MN
Serving as a public library, Faribault City Hall earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 due to its local architectural and political importance.
The multi-year phased renovation initiative involved replacing the existing windows with SCW900 Series custom historic replica fixed and double-hung windows.
The SCW900 Series was chosen for its ability to meet the profile and appearance requirements mandated by the historic designation, as well as its long-term energy efficiency and exceptional acoustic attenuation capabilities, effectively reducing external noise intrusion.
These windows effectively addressed the project’s challenges and ensured compliance with the aesthetic and performance standards inherent in the historic context of the landmark district.
