St. Cloud Window Inc. replaces windows at St. Katharine/Drexel School in St. Cloud, MN after a car crash on January 4, 2013, damaged the street-level windows and compromised the structure of the building.
The windows were replaced with SCW 940 horizontal sliding windows to match the original SCW windows installed in 1980. The 900 Series has long been the benchmark of St. Cloud Window’s superior window systems, designed for performance and exceptional acoustic capabilities.
In addition to replacing the damaged windows, a new office window was added to provide greater visibility to the students. The new office window is a 100% donation thanks to Rice Building Systems who cut in the new window opening, Granite City Glass who installed the new window, and the shareholders of St. Cloud Window who donated the new SCW 960 fixed window.
As stated by Ann Swanson, SCW partial owner and St. Katharine/Drexel School educator, “St. Cloud Window is proud to make a difference in the safety of our children and to reinvest in our local community through in-kind donations. One of our Company Values is to ‘Add value to our associates, customers and community’.”
