Vandalia Tower
Project Location: St. Paul, MN
Vandalia Tower is an 80-year-old structure with complex layers from previous remodels; however, with the 2020 listing on the National Register of Historic Places, renovation required the State Historic Preservation Officer and National Park Service approval.
SCW3000 Series windows and SCW5000 Series doors were selected to comply with historic accuracy and historic tax credit requirements, but also to provide modern thermal and energy efficiency performance.
With the north elevation rough opening of 165” x 242” or (13’9” x 20’2”), the windows flood the building with an abundance of natural light.
Project Scope: 214 fixed frame & 76 projecting outswing awning windows, and 2 sliding glass doors
