Vandalia Tower is an 80-year old structure with complex layers from previous remodels, however with the 2020 listing on the National Register of Historic Places, renovation required State Historic Preservation Officer and National Park Service approval.

With the north elevation rough opening of 165” x 242” or (13’9” x 20’2”) the windows flood the building with an abundance of natural light.
