The Penfield development combined the existing façade of the historic Saint Paul Public Safety Building with new construction, revitalizing an underutilized city-block into a full-block development featuring a street-level grocery store and 254 market-rate apartment units.
Located in the heart of the city and next to the intersection of two major interstate highways, the project required windows designed block traffic, hospital, and urban noise as well as meet appearance requirements of the preserved historic façade.
Project Scope: 341 windows – ultra acoustic, single hung, awning, and fixed
205 doors – sliding glass and terrace
