Old Stoney Sundance School
Project Location: Sundance, WY
Every attempt was made in the design and planning to preserve as much of the historic 100-year-old ‘Old Stoney’ Sundance School as possible.
Sitting at the head of Main Street, abandoned in the 1970s, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the school was brought back to life with SCW3000 Series historic replica windows to not only provide the historic accuracy required for Historic Tax Credit compliance but also provide modern thermal and energy efficiency performance.
‘Old Stoney’ is now described as the ‘crown jewel’ of the community and home of the Crook County Museum and Cultural Center.
