KMFA Radio Studios
Project Location: Austin, TX
KMFA 89.5’s new space in The Hatchery is designed to connect with audiences through a multi-faceted approach, offering captivating on-air broadcasts, immersive online experiences, and in-person interactions, all within the confines of a state-of-the-art space.
One integral element of the space is the St. Cloud Window SCW960-A9 acoustic sound-blocking windows. These windows have been strategically incorporated into key areas of the facility, including:
– On-Air Studio,
– Small Studios, and
– Live Music Studio.
The SCW960-A9 windows boast STC sound ratings of 58 and 59. Such high ratings underscore their effectiveness in minimizing external noise, ensuring that the only sounds permeating the listener’s experience are those intentionally broadcast on-air.
