Brooklyn Army Terminal Renovation Phase V
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Application: Historic replication
SCW Model Series: SCW2500
The entire Phase V renovation encompasses eight ‘football fields’ worth of space and emphasizes Brooklyn Army Terminal’s historical details. However the renovation wasn’t just a facelift, it’s a new life for the 100-year-old building.
Through coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and Mancini Duffy, St. Cloud Window replicated over 700 custom windows.
The project required custom, slim-profile, aluminum frames fabricated to maintain historic site lines and finished to match the original red exterior and black interior,” explains Michael Kipfer, project manager and Mancini Principal.
The SCW2500 Series historic replica windows not only maintained the historical integrity of the building but also provided modern-day energy efficiency.
