Bank of America
Project Location: Washington, DC
The project required replacing existing windows with energy-efficient windows while maintaining the building’s historic integrity.
Both the lower-level wood windows and upper-level steel windows were replaced with SCW2500 Series windows without changing the exterior appearance or the daylight openings. And applied muntin bars were custom-designed to match the original historic divided light windows.
Located in Washington DC’s Fifteenth Street Financial Historic District, all changes received approval from both the Historic Preservation Review Board and Commission of Fine Arts.
