St. Cloud Window Launches New SCW4000 Series Acoustic Window Line

ST. CLOUD, MN (September 9, 2020) – St. Cloud Window Inc., a leading manufacturer of a complete line of aluminum high-performance fenestration products for commercial buildings, announces a new SCW4000 Series window.
This AW-PG70 window has a narrow 4″ frame depth, polyamide thermal barrier, and accommodates insulating glass up to 1.25” with certified acoustic performance STC 28-51, OITC 22-42, and U-values to 0.35.
The SCW4000 Series is designed to accommodate the increasing demand for acoustic performance and high thermal efficiency to both buildings and occupants and is available in vertical sliding, horizontal sliding, and fixed configuration.

Thermal Barrier – The polyamide thermal barrier results in higher thermal performance, which is further enhanced by accommodating insulating glass up to 1.25”.
Aluminum – Made from 6063-T6 aluminum alloy, the window will never rot, warp, or buckle due to moisture and weather exposure, and provide outstanding condensation resistance.
Sleek design – Merging a slim 4” sightline with advanced thermal performance, the SCW4000 Series offers several design options, including split finishes, custom exterior mullion options, and concealed fasteners in their joinery construction to create flush and unbroken sightlines. Certified Performance – SCW4000 Series has been rigorously tested by certified and accredited test laboratories to the United States and Canadian standards, exceeding building code thermal transmittance energy requirements for North America with U-values to 0.35 and achieving sound transmission ratings of STC 28-51 and OITC ratings of 22-42 depending on the configuration.
Integral screen option – The SCW4000Series is available with an integral insect screen that automatically deploys and retracts with the operation of the window for aesthetic and practical maintenance considerations. Enjoy the benefits of screens when open and unobstructed views when windows are closed. Facilities managers enjoy the benefit of exterior window cleaning without removing a screen.
