St. Cloud Window Products Showcased in a Variety of Commercial Applications

08/17/2016

St. Cloud Window Inc. continues to deliver high quality to new construction and renovation projects across the country, demonstrating the depth of applications on a variety of fenestration solutions.

Legislative Services Building/Colorado State Museum, Denver, Colorado

The recent window restoration project of the Legislative Services Building, historically the Colorado State Museum, in Denver, Colorado, showcases the SCW 380 Fixed Removable Window from the company’s Secondary Glazing product catalog. This window series meets today’s performance standards, and delivers the requisite securities of exterior storm windows, all while preserving the historical presence of this landmark structure. The SCW 380 Fixed Removable window provides increased thermal and acoustic performance without disrupting the building’s facade or necessitating the removal of the existing window. Under the careful guidance of Humphries-Poli architects, the SCW 380 in the Secondary Glazing segment was the ideal solution for the Legislative Services Building.

Hope Church/The Lodge, Richmond, Virginia

Meanwhile, construction is wrapping up on The Lodge, a building expansion project at Hope Church, the fastest-growing church in Richmond, Virginia. The Lodge was created to provide a gathering space for students and families in a serene and inspiring environment. This addition to the Main Campus utilizes the SCW Series 2500. In a brilliant plan to replicate historic aesthetic elements in new construction, Bushman Dreyfus Architects selected the SCW Series 2500, which delivers modern high performance in the patina of historic replication. The Lodge is designed to complement the main structure of Hope Church, with particular emphasis on acoustic attenuation and performance yet abundant with natural light and lush with unrestricted views of the fabulous landscape. The construction team included GeoBarns building systems, Hourigan Construction serving as the general contractor, framing and finish by Arterra Construction, and window installation by Charlottesville Glass.
