Director of Sales and Marketing

Position Title:  Director of Sales and Marketing
Reports To:  President/CEO
Status:  Full-Time, Salaried Plus Incentive

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales, marketing, and estimating teams in developing and executing strategies that drive growth, accuracy, and enhance our market presence. This role requires a results-oriented leader with a strong background in sales, marketing, and team management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Strategic Leadership: Design and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies that drive business growth and align with corporate objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, inspire, and develop sales, marketing, and estimating teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving targets and enhancing customer engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Campaign Development: Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of impactful marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand identity and messaging.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with product development, customer service, and other departments to enhance product offerings and optimize the customer experience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing, and estimating initiatives, regularly analyzing outcomes to assess effectiveness and implement improvements. 
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers to drive collaboration and maximize opportunities. 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a sales and marketing leadership role demonstrated by quantifiable results.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Travel up to 25%
