The Penfield
Project Location: St. Paul, MN
The Penfield development combined the existing façade of the historic Saint Paul Public Safety Building with new construction, revitalizing an underutilized city block into a full-block development featuring a street-level grocery store and 254 market-rate apartment units.
Located in the heart of the city and next to the intersection of two major interstate highways, the project required windows designed to block traffic, hospital, and urban noise as well as meet the appearance requirements set for preserving the historic façade.
